Director, Sharon Short

Sharon is the author of two mystery series:

► Humorous cozies featuring laundress and stain-expert Josie Toadfern, cleaning up crime one hilarious load at a time. Published by Avon Books, 2002-2008, the most recent novel in the series is Tie Dyed and Dead.

► PI novels featuring Patricia Delaney who uses computer research as well as personal snooping to solve her cases. Published by Fawcett Books in the mid-1990s.

She has also published short stories and has been writing humor columns for the Dayton Daily News since 2000. In 2000-2001, her columns appeared occasionally. Since 2002, her Sanity Check columns have appeared weekly on Mondays. She is currently at work on a new novel.

Assistant Director, Holly Hudson

After graduating from Hampshire College in Massachusetts with a degree in creative writing and video production, Holly moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. She spent the next 10 years working off-off-Broadway and in summer stock before returning to her original passion of writing. She lived in London, England for six years where she worked as a freelance writer, copy-writer, sub-editor, TV producer, and ‘Texting Chat Host’ on a TV channel devoted to text messaging. Holly currently lives in her native Yellow Springs, Ohio with her son and various domesticated animals, and where she works as a freelance writer, grant writer, and assistant director of the Antioch Writers’ Workshop. She has written for The Independent Film & Video Monthly, Eldr Magazine, the Dayton City Paper, and Vision, a British-Spanish travel magazine. She loves to write about environmental issues, progressive cultural change, alternative education, travel, food, and film. She has written and directed short films and is currently working on her third feature-length screenplay.
